Learning Objectives:

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize benign breast conditions.
  • Determine the role of risk assessment tools in identifying women at high risk for breast cancer.
  • Discuss management of an unaffected BRCA mutation carrier.
  • Recognize the controversies developing in screening mammography and role of newer imaging modalities.
  • Discuss contemporary axillary management strategies and their risks
  • Discuss unusual breast tumor types.
  • Discuss management of  cancer patients.
  • Identify survivorship issues and management options
