On behalf of the European Burns Association I would like to invite you to attend the 15th congress of the European Burn Association in Vienna, Austria. The treatment of patients with burns is complex and the final outcome is depending on the quality of care. The multidisciplinary approach of the patient with (severe) burns is crucial for a good final outcome. This congress will give you the opportunity to meet colleagues from many different countries and will provide you with the latest developments in the field of burn care and burn care research. The scientific program includes all the aspects of modern burn care. We will discuss the standards of care, quality assessment and outcome. Vienna is a beautiful city located in central Europe. A lot of cultural highlights combined with the congress venue provide a setting to inspire you. It will give you education, knowledge and the opportunity to make new friends to reach our ultimate goal: the best treatment for the patient with burns all around Europeand all around the globe.
