Learning Objectives

As a result of participating in this activity, participants should be better able to:

1. Discuss the safety and efficacy of current treatment options for HIV and HCV
2. Discuss the safety and efficacy of near term agents for those co-infected
3. Review the pipeline of HCV agents in phase 2/3 trials for HCV mono-infection

This activity was originally presented as part of The 8th Annual American Conference for the Treatment of HIV (ACTHIV) was held May 8-10 in Denver, CO. ACTHIV is the premier conference in the US dedicated exclusively to frontline clinicians caring for individuals living with HIV infection. The conference delivers information to learners on new developments and research findings that can be rapidly translated and directly applied to the clinical setting. Well respected within the healthcare community, this year’s conference provided a large variety and number of high caliber speakers and sessions.
