3D Modeling Fundamentals

Overview / Abstract:

This course is an introduction to computer graphics for 3D modeling, animation, and 3D printing exploration. Students developa solid understanding of the basic concepts underlying 3D software and learn how to apply concepts to create quality imagesand assets. Basic animation techniques are introduced, but modeling is the focus. The primary software used is Maya. Students can use either Mac or PC for this course. Free Autodesk software can be downloaded from www.students.autodesk.com. Limited to 16. Open to Non-Credit and Certificate Students. Open to Degree students with permission of program
