Faculty & credentials Dr. Marr has published more than 150 articles, has written chapters in several books and served as Editor for the book Diagnosis of Fungal Infections and Section Editor for Infectious Diseases. Dr. Marr’s clinical and translational research focus has been on developing methods and clinical algorithms to prevent infectious complications, especially fungal infections, in immunocompromised patients. She has served as the principal investigator for several federal and industry supported studies and has won numerous awards, most recently, membership to the American Society for Clinical Investigation. Dr. Marr holds membership in the Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA), International Society for Human and Animal Mycology, American Society of Transplantation, and several other professional societies. She has served on the editorial boards for numerous journals, is the Editor in Chief of Current Infectious Diseases Reports, and is a section editor for Up to Date in Infectious Diseases. Dr. Marr serves on several committees and advisory bodies, including advisory boards for treatment guidelines published by IDSA, the American Thoracic Society, the American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation, the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. |
