Overview / Abstract: |
This activity reviews Rheumatoid arthritis (RA), a common condition that impacts the lives of millions of people, is highly debilitating with a progressive disease course. Not surprisingly, costs related to medical treatment, medications, and job absenteeism for RA are higher than the general population. These direct costs have significant impact on total costs for RA patients and must be balanced with costs of newer therapies. The content of this activity will provide the most up-to-date information for pharmacists who will be able to make educated decisions that impact not only the quality of patient care but also strengthen the health system. |
