L. Clifford McDonald, MD and Carolyn V. Gould, MD of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will discuss the risk and burden of Clostridium difficile infection (CDI), the important role all healthcare professionals play in the prevention of CDI across practice settings, and best practices for preventing CDI. At the conclusion of the webinar, participants will be able to: The National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
