Influenza Vaccines: Giving the Right Dose at the Right Time

Kathleen M. Neuzil, MD, MPH, Professor of Medicine and Director of the Center for Vaccine Development at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, will discuss influenza (flu) vaccines. The presentation will focus on the characteristics of currently available influenza vaccine, current recommendations for administering the vaccine, and strategies to improve immunization coverage.

At the conclusion of the webinar, participants will be able to:
- Evaluate the characteristics of influenza vaccines and the appropriateness of each for different populations
- Develop strategies to increase immunization coverage in clinical practice
- Provide patient education on the prevention and control of influenza
