Kathleen M. Neuzil, MD, MPH, Professor of Medicine and Director of the Center for Vaccine Development at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, will discuss influenza (flu) vaccines. The presentation will focus on the characteristics of currently available influenza vaccine, current recommendations for administering the vaccine, and strategies to improve immunization coverage. At the conclusion of the webinar, participants will be able to: The National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
