Wilbur H. Chen, MD, MS, Director, University of Maryland Travelers’ Health Clinic at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, will discuss the importance of travel vaccines. The presentation will cover important travel vaccines before the busy summer travel season begins and will focus on communication, timing, and vaccines recommended based on specific travelers to specific destinations.
At the conclusion of the webinar, participants will be able to: Identify vaccine-preventable risks for certain travelers Implement vaccination against selected key diseases for those high-risk travelers The National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
