Diagnosis and Natural History of Peanut Allergy

Overview / Abstract:

This is an interactive course that provides information about the diagnosis and natural history of peanut allergy. We will cover a variety of topics that are important when evaluating a patient for peanut allergy, such as details about testing and interpreting the results. We'll also cover pertinent information about persistence and resolution of peanut allergy.

Target audience:
Allied Health providers

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
Select appropriate diagnostic tools and interpret results to make an accurate diagnosis of peanut allergy
Identify the risk factors for persistence of peanut allergy
Explain the likelihood and timing of spontaneous resolution of peanut allergy
