William Schaffner, MD, NFID Medical Director and liaison to the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), will discuss updates from the June 2016 ACIP meeting, including updated recommendations for adult vaccination.
At the conclusion of the webinar, participants will be able to: Describe current ACIP recommendations for adult immunization Explain how recent changes to vaccine recommendations will impact vaccination programs Discuss information on new and/or future vaccines for potential use in practice Continuing Medical Education (CME) The National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. NFID designates this enduring material for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) This activity has been submitted to the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91) for approval to award contact hours. The Ohio Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of continuing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Note that in order to claim CNE credit, each individual must be registered and attend via the personalized link in their confirmation email.
