Oncologic Imaging
| Overview / Abstract: |
This CME activity is intended to provide the target audience with an overview in the oncologic imaging arena. PET/CT imaging and PET/CT imaging and its current role of cancer detection, management and surveillance will be discussed. Other functional based imaging techniques including PET/MRI and molecular breast imaging techniques will be presented as well. Common cancers and their imaging evaluation techniques will be reviewed. Selected topics in the latest cancer treatments developed with imaging guidance and interventional techniques will be presented. Finally, a special emphasis on the pediatric population will be presented as well. A special 1-hour lecture on the business of radiology through an actual case vignette will be presented with discussion. |
