Overview / Abstract: |
Conference Overview: To reduce the health risks associated with wounds—including amputation and impaired quality of life—and excessive wound care costs, primary care clinicians need current training for diagnosing, treating and preventing wounds. Wound Care Update will explore how care teams can use the latest multidisciplinary information to provide care and optimize patients’ health outcomes. Experts in physical therapy, nutrition and other fields integral to wound care will offer interactive workshops, hands-on demonstrations, case presentations and time for interaction with participants.
