Introduction to Microtherapies

Access Activity

Overview / Abstract:

Microtherapy devices have burst onto the medical esthetics field but little clinical data has been collected or analyzed as to safety and efficacy. This course relies on peer reviewed literature to present mechanisms of action, comparative safety analysis and the physiological response to microtherapies.

Course attendees will develop the competence to recognize the clinical endpoints of microtherapy treatments discussed in evidence based studies and be able to apply these endpoints in developing protocols for various skin conditions.

Course attendees will be able to deliver safe and effective microtherapy treatments for a variety of skin conditions and esthetic goals. Attendees will also be able to safely combine microtherapy treatments with other esthetic treatments.
