Overview / Abstract: |
In this activity, a three-faculty panel of experts discuss clinical situations with emergent needs for direct oral anticoagulant (DOAC) reversal. Faculty are featured via a video-recorded conference, complete with an accompanying PowerPoint presentation. This virtual forum provides an objective, non-judgmental review of adverse DOAC outcomes and systematic process changes regarding situations where DOAC reversal should be applied. The activity is intended for hospitalists, cardiologists, primary care physicians, nurses and other clinicians who manage anticoagulation.
