Non-Sterile Compounding Hand Sanitizer During COVID-19 Public Health Emergency

During the Public Health Emergency related to COVID-19, there has been a drastic shortage of hand sanitizers for the public. Recently the FDA, USP and State of Massachusetts has provided guidance on how pharmacies can compound hand sanitizer and sell it over the counter while still being in compliance with all applicable laws. This is an unprecedented step that will allow Pharmacists and Pharmacies in Massachusetts to serve the public. Attendees will be able to apply this information to supply this much needed product to the public in the time of this public health crisis.
