On January 1, 2023, the Dental Board of California (DBC) and CA Law mandated that all Schedule II Opioid prescribers, including dentists, take a dental board approved course to fulfill the CE mandate. This brand new text-based PDF file self-instruction course is based on explicit content guidelines issued by the DBC and the Calif Code of Regulations. This 2023-2024 DBC approved course covers best practices in pain management, resources for Substance Abuse Disorder, and the regulations, responsibilities, and requirements for Calif prescribers including the CURES system.
