About The Presenter

Ms. Jackson received her Masters of Public Health from the University at Albany in Albany, NY. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Health Policy and Administration at Penn State in 2005. And received her CPC in 2012. Ms. Jackson is the Practice Affairs Associate for a membership-based, not-for-profit organization serving more than 75,000 surgeons world-wide. In this capacity, Ms. Jackson is responsible for authoring research articles to aid physician practices in the implement of Health Information Technology and Electronic Medical Records, as well as draft articles and issue briefs on physician reimbursement and coding issues. In addition, she prepare responses to proposed National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) edits and Medically Unlikely Edits (MUEs).
