After the introductory information, this evidence-based, experiential, active and participatory 1.5-hour webinar will start at the very beginning of human movement with a focus on maximizing movement for function and fitness while having fun along the life span.  Included is a brief introduction of The Meeks Method and its principles of movement, stages of bone development and ideas on how to maximize safe and therapeutic forces on the bones at any age. Participants will be guided through Sit-To-Stand-To-Sit, perhaps the most functional movement we do throughout our life, balance from simple to more complex, and be given many ideas on how to bring safety into a person’s favorite things to do—including sitting and reading or watching TV, Golf, Tennis and Bowling as well as other activities such as Yoga and Pilates.
