This evidence-based, experiential, active and participatory 1.5-hour webinar will focus on the management of the patient with osteoporosis with a focus on bracing with the Spinomed Spinal Orthosis for Osteoporosis as part of the comprehensive 12-point program of The Meeks Method. This is the only spinal orthosis for osteoporosis that has been supported by a peer-reviewed, published study of its use. The presentation will include an experience of functional movement from and for the bones, a discussion of the importance of site-specific exercise including joint-reaction, ground-reaction and bone-reaction forces, an introduction to bracing with the Spinomed as well as information on the epidemiology and pathology of osteoporosis and fracture including management with vertebro or kypho-plasty.
