New options have become available in recent years for the medical management of glaucoma. Drs. Khouri and Sawhney discuss the importance of individualized care for patients, with an emphasis on lowering IOP through enhancing trabecular meshwork outflow using novel therapies rather than surgical options as first-line treatment.
