Michelle Ann Richards CPC, CPCO, CPMA, CPPM has over 20 years healthcare leadership experience. During this time she has managed the startup of many physician groups, was director of practice management for a large health care system and worked as a compliance officer. She has sat on compliance committees since 2009 and was part of the team responsible for building 7Atlis, AAPC’s Compliance Solution Software. She has been an auditing and compliance consultant for AAPC since 2009 and was promoted to Compliance Manager for AAPC Client Services in February. She teaches the CPPM boot camp and holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration. Her passion is educating other health care employees on compliance by writing educational articles for Health Care Business Monthly, giving conference presentations and providing consulting services.
