Access Activity

Overview / Abstract:

What is really going on with ICD-10 implementation? There have been so many explanations. Where was the industry prior to the delay? What are the future plans moving forward and is ICD-10 really as expensive to implement as once thought? How do I get going and what’s it really all about? We’ll answer these questions and more in this special webinar where industry experts point us in the right direction and tell us what really is going on.

You Will Learn:
Denesecia Green, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), will explain CMS’ plans, how testing went prior to the delay, and what plans are for moving forward.
Sid Hebert, ICD-10 Program Manager at Humana, will give an in-depth look at Humana’s testing efforts so far and what their plans are for the future.
Jill Finn, Chief Product Manager of Patient & Interoperability Solutions at ADP AdvancedMD, will answer the questions on what can you do to prepare, how to work with vendors on testing, and the level you need to get to.
Rhonda Buckholtz, VP of ICD-10 Training and Education at AAPC, will walk you through full exercises on implementing ICD-10, ICD-10 testing and working with vendors, dual coding and expanding your horizons with ICD-10. She’ll also explain what the benefits will be to both physicians and patients with the transition to ICD-10.
