This superprogram explores several current IP topics through the lens of superheroes and comic books. Specific topics include:
How Batman's public use of Wayne Enterprises technology may affects its patent strategy (including discussion of the America Invents Act)
How Superman can protect his costume, likeness, brand, and chest symbol from his evil twin Bizarro through copyright, trademark, and other IP strategies (including discussion of the proposed Innovative Design Protection Act of 2012)
Issues surrounding the Superhero® and Super-villian® trademarks in the real world are the trademarks still valid when they return from the dead?
Issues relating to the tax and licensing strategies of technologies developed by Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four, as well as tax implications of all IP topics covered
