The Nominee / Transferee / Alter-Ego Lien - What Can a Practitioner Do?

Access Activity

Overview / Abstract:

The IRS has recently increased this lien as a collection tool for those corporations that have a tax liability with very little assets left to pay the tax. It is imperative that every tax practitioner that practices either in the controversy area or collection area needs to understand how the IRS uses this lien and what they can do to minimize its effects.
