The Virtual Office, Working Remotely, and Online Collaboration

Access Activity

Overview / Abstract:

As today's consumers become more accustomed to obtaining goods and services from online, virtual companies like Amazon and Netflix, it's not surprising that legal services are also now being delivered in a virtual way. For lawyers today, a practice grounded in a brick-and-mortar setting is not the only way to deliver client representation. This program will cover the brave, new world of virtual law practice: the tools necessary, the pros and cons, and how to do it well and effectively. Even if you have never considered a virtual practice, you will come away from this session with a better understanding of how the virtual office is changing the legal landscape, and you may even be inspired to integrate some of the concepts into your own way of practice.
