Overview / Abstract:

The advantages of estate planning are discussed, as is the estate planning process. Agents will be able to help their clients determine their objectives and analyze their needs in order to make plans to meet those objectives and satisfy their needs. The agent will learn about individual elements of estate planning such as; mortgage, family budget, readjustment income or fund, immediate cash demands, retirement funds, tax data and trust funds.

The agent will also be introduced to ownership provisions, beneficiary designations, and collateral assignments. The role of finance in an agency is discussed, as are the basic financial planning concepts. The agent will become educated in settlement options in which the agent will learn why options were developed, which options provide unconditional guarantees, and which options are most widely used.
