Overview / Abstract:

Learn how to use a digital SLR camera in this two-day hands-on course. Topics covered include formatting and choosing file formats, using and downloading memory cards, making decisions about lens and shutter speed settings, using light metering patterns and modes, focusing, exposure overrides, manipulating image parameters, and working with the many forms of imagery the camera’s processor is capable of creating. You also receive a short introduction to image processing. Bring to class your digital camera with an interchangeable lens and exposure controls along with its instruction book. Limited to 16. Open to Non-Credit and Certificate Students. Open to Degree students with permission of program
