This module is a brief introduction to Cardiac Biomarkers.

Objectives. At the conclusion of this course, the participant should be able to:

List 5 of the risk factors for cardiac disease.
Sketch an inflamed artery.
Briefly describe the theory of plaque formation.
List 4 intervention actions with which the laboratory can assist.
