Overview / Abstract: |
In this patient simulation, you will evaluate and treat a patient with persistent allergies. The decisions you make should be based on safety considerations in allergen immunotherapy treatments, such as Subcutaneous Immunotherapy (SCIT) and Sublingual Immunotherapy (SLIT). Just like in your clinic, you will want to make the correct decisions so that the allergy and asthma treatments you initiate are on target--and keep your patient out of the emergency department. A mentor will provide feedback throughout the simulation. |
