Overview / Abstract:

This is an interactive course that provides information about the different types of food immunotherapy, with a focus on oral immunotherapy (OIT). We will review the history of OIT and examine the current evidence supporting OIT's use. In doing so, we will identify which patients might benefit from this therapy but also highlight the risks and limitations associated with OIT in an attempt to provide a clearer understanding of where food immunotherapy fits in clinical practice.
