Overview / Abstract: |
The use of ART prolongs survival and reduces CVD risks in HIV-infected individuals. However, the HIV-infected population also has high rates of traditional CVD, such as dyslipidemia. Clinicians must be familiar with available data to manage these risks and formulate preventive approaches. This educational activity is designed for cardiologists, infectious disease specialists, primary care physicians, and other clinicians interested in the management of patients with HIV-related cardiovascular disease. |
