Research shows that patients often come away from these discussions with misinformation, feeling stigmatized, fearful, and likely to be non-adherent with follow-up plans. The goal is for patients to come away from these conversations without unnecessary anxiety and with the accurate information they need to make informed decisions and follow through with next-steps. What are the best counseling strategies when discussing abnormal results and responding to a patient's concerns? This webinar reviews the available data about HPV and counseling strategies and provides a deep dive into best practices and clinical pearls for having these conversations effectively.
