Age-related decline in immune function impairs both the ability to resist influenza infection and to respond to influenza vaccination, with serious consequences for the older adult population. This program addresses national issues in influenza immunization for adults age 65 years and older, with the aim of supporting optimal decision-making in clinical practice.
