TEEMwork Makes the Dream Work: An Interdisciplinary Approach to Best Patient Care Practices for Hepatitis C

At the conclusion of this session, the participant will be able to:

Review the pathophysiology and complications of Hepatitis C Virus (HCV).
Identify patients who are appropriate for treatment of HCV.
Discuss current guidelines and recommendations for treatment of HCV in treatment naïve, compensated patients and in experienced, decompensated patients.
Summarize common barriers to hepatitis C therapy approval.
Identify common drug interactions and their management.
Compare methods to help patients afford hepatitis C therapies.

Pharmacy Technician Objectives:
