his conference is intended for all healthcare professionals caring for the adult cardiovascular patient. Assessment of the adult with cardiovascular dysfunction is the focus as well as the medical-surgical nursing interventions for common diagnoses. Lecture format will include multiple topics and practice sessions.
Program Learning Outcomes This program prepares the learner to: 1. The participant will be able to discuss the current guidelines regarding several of the top issues in cardiovascular nursing: inflammation, valvular disease, hypertension, cardiac pharmacology, pacemaker assessment, new ACLS guidelines and women with heart disease. |
