Overview / Abstract: |
This initiative is targeted towards healthcare providers in India and will be comprised of two clinician focused activities which consist of video-based faculty panel modules and a text based discussion guide. For this initiative, ACHL is partnering with IJCP Group, a leading healthcare communications company in India, as well as the Federation of Obstetrics & Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI), and the India Medical Association on the development of these educational materials. The goals of this educational activity are to provide information to healthcare providers in India about contraception in order to: 1) improve clinician and patient knowledge of available methods of contraception for women across their reproductive lifespan, 2) dispel myths and misconceptions about contraception, and 3) improve participatory medicine/shared decision making. |
