Overview / Abstract: |
Put your knowledge to the test with the IPF Formative Assessment! Challenge yourself with this self-paced interactive assessment designed to sharpen your knowledge and competency in the diagnosis and management of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. The Formative Assessment platform profiles individual learning needs related to the management of IPF and recommends personalized education to meet each learner’s unique needs. This activity consists of three modules, each taking approximately 15 minutes to complete: Given the increasing prevalence of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis in the United States, clinician education is needed on IPF diagnosis and management. This fatal disease has a median survival rate of 2-5 years and is characterized by a chronic, progressive fibrosing interstitial pneumonia of unknown cause. The IPF Formative Assessment affords clinicians the knowledge and skills needed to enact timely, accurate IPF diagnoses and develop comprehensive management strategies that will improve IPF patient quality of life. |
