Access Activity

Overview / Abstract:

Patients often have poorly controlled pain in the emergency department, and finding effective alternatives to opioids can be challenging. This application-based continuing pharmacy education course provides a journal club format discussion for pharmacists and student pharmacists to review low dose ketamine as an option for acute pain management. Join us as we discuss how appropriate patient selection and dosing strategies can limit side effects and help ketamine become another tool to avoid opioid overuse.
