Overview / Abstract: |
ndividuals with asthma are likely to present first in the primary care setting, thus affording primary care providers an opportunity to reduce the numbers of patients who are misdiagnosed and to support the correct use of inhalers and adherence. Asthma management is evolving and evidence-based guidelines and interdisciplinary models of care can help individualize treatment and improve outcomes in those with asthma. Through the use of case-studies, our faculty will address these important issues and practice challenges. |
