Overview / Abstract: |
A faculty panel will discuss a case relating to the assessment and treatment of cUTIs. Topics will include emerging technologies for diagnosis, common pathogens, and the selection of therapy for resistant gram-negative infections. The purpose of this activity is to provide members of antimicrobial stewardship programs and clinicians who care for patients with serious infections with the latest data on antimicrobial stewardship, available and emerging antibiotics against Gram-negative pathogens, and the optimization of therapy to improve outcomes and reduce resistance. |
