This activity will feature a faculty panel discussing the treatment of a patient with HAP/VAP. Discussions will center around resistant gram-negative pathogens, the selection of therapy, and the role of newer antimicrobial therapies. The purpose of this activity is to provide members of antimicrobial stewardship programs and clinicians who care for patients with serious infections with the latest data on antimicrobial stewardship, available and emerging antibiotics against Gram-negative pathogens, and the optimization of therapy to improve outcomes and reduce resistance |
