Medical Marijuana Best Practices will help physicians make informed decisions regarding medicinal cannabis treatments for their patients. This online course will specifically tailor the educational experience to the practitioner's specific state of practice. It provides an evidence based analysis of the widest range of approved conditions, with thoughtful discussion regarding marijuana’s efficacy, risks and benefits. Topics include safest practices, addiction, dosing, cannabidiol, THC, indicas vs. sativas, physical and cognitive safety issues, impact on mental health, risk management/mitigation, edibles and the balance between medical marijuana and opioids.
