Overview / Abstract: |
In this case-based activity on atopic dermatitis and psoriasis, dermatologist, Anthony Fernandez, MD, PhD, addresses diagnosis and treatment in two patient scenarios. Clinical decision points address the burden of these diseases, the impact on quality-of-life, and available approaches to treat varying complexities. The diversity and heterogeneity of psoriasis and atopic dermatitis complicate their assessment and management. This activity is designed to provide practical guidance from an expert faculty to help increase awareness of the latest clinical outcomes data in order to optimize treatment of these inflammatory and autoimmune skin conditions. |
