The landscape of multiple myeloma therapy is evolving. There is an ongoing need for clinician education as treatment options expand and are integrated into treatment regimens, and guidelines are updated to reflect these advances. Nursing considerations are different with newer agents compared to standard chemotherapy. Additionally, it’s important that clinicians understand the impact of COVID-19 and how to reduce the risk of infection in vulnerable patients.
