Target Audience
This enduring activity is designed to meet the education needs of infectious disease specialists, pulmonary medicine specialists, nurses, NPs, PAs, and other physicians who treat and manage patients with hospital acquired pneumonia in the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Program Overview
This enduring activity is focused on treatment for patients with hospital-acquired pneumonia (HAP) and/or ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) setting.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

Analyze diagnostic testing recommended for patients with hospital-acquired pneumonia.
Distinguish recommended treatments for hospital-acquired pneumonia.
Outline implications for the healthcare team when managing patients with hospital-acquired pneumonia.
