Target Audience

This activity is intended for pediatricians, family medicine/internal medicine physicians, pharmacists, NPs, and PAs.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

Recognize the epidemiology and disease burden of influenza, during and beyond COVID-19 infection, to effectively diagnose and manage risk of influenza among patients and those at risk due to exposure to the virus
Utilize the most appropriate influenza treatment and prophylactic approaches for patients and exposed contacts based on an understanding of current guidelines, clinical-trial data, and mechanisms of action of available agents
