COVID-19 Vaccine Myth Busters (Technician)

Overview / Abstract:

Recommendations regarding COVID-19 immunizations are being updated frequently. This session will discuss the safety and efficacy data available for the COVID-19 vaccines that have received an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Included in the discussion will be the mechanism of action and a comparison of dosage, schedule, and storage for the available COVID-19 vaccines. Patient cases to review recommended vaccines based on patient-specific factors and the most current immunization recommendations will be reviewed.
