Target Audience
This program is intended for neurologists, radiologists, neuroradiologists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the diagnosis and management of patients with Alzheimer disease, including primary care physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nurses.

Program Overview
Virtual Case Studies™ is an engaging and interactive case-based program that provides concise and easy-to-digest education on the use of neuroimaging in the diagnosis and management of patients with Alzheimer disease. The engaging multimedia format of this program includes two case studies featuring video clips of fictional patients and physicians navigating clinical decision points, interactive questions followed by explanations of the optimal response, and concludes with a discussion of diagnosis and treatment-related strategies by a panel of distinguished experts.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

Identify the pathological hallmarks of Alzheimer disease
Apply guidelines-based recommendations on the use of neuroimaging techniques to differentiate Alzheimer disease from other similar conditions
Discuss the importance of early diagnosis in Alzheimer disease and recent advances in neuroimaging and the role it plays in facilitating early and accurate diagnosis
Analyze emerging trends in neuroimaging assessment and its potential role in diagnosis, monitoring, and management of Alzheimer disease with respect to future treatment paradigms
