ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION This supplement highlights important points related to the care and treatment of patients with dry eye disease based on the evolving understanding of the disease process. The consensus panel came to an agreement on specific points related to acute versus chronic dry eye to formulate this consensus panel statement with the goal of improving patient outcomes.
